HW1: Record the following syllables (from ba to lü). For practice, go to www.archchinese.com/chinese_pinyin.html#tonesection1 or click on the “Pinyin Table” link under “Arch Chinese” on this blog. As you click on each syllable, all available tones will show, focus on 1st tones as you will be recording syllables in 1st tones.
*underlined syllables are also how their initials (consonants) are pronounced: b (bo), p (po), m (mo), f (fo), d (de), t(te), n (ne), l (le).
HW2: Make flashcards for these 4 characters.
