*Reminder: when j, q, x come with ü, two dots disappear. Think about how you would pronounce ju, qu, xu before recording.

*Grammar points:

1.Measure word: word used in combination with number to indicate amount, examples in English include: one cup of coffee, two pieces of paper. In Chinese, use of measure words is REQUIRED. One chicken would be 鸡, not  一鸡.

2. Chinese question and answer have the same word order, to answer a question simply replace question word with answer. Ex:
A: 这是什么?zhè shì shénmeA: This is what?
    B: 这是鸡。    zhè shì jī               B: This is chicken.

   3. 两 (liǎng) is used instead of 二 to describe amount, EX: Its 两只鸡 , NOT 二只鸡

   4. 是/不是 Shì/bùshì :yes/no; is/isn't
